This module is used for sending email to your membership. Email sent through this feature uses what is called a bulk email service. This follows an industry standard when you want to email the same message to multiple people.
You have the option to send individual emails as well as large groups of email.
You can either choose to send an email now or schedule the email to send on a specific date and time.
Choose Create Email
Choose between using a Mailing List based on different reports or Manual Selection where you can select individual members currently in the system. If an email address is not currently in the system you also have the ability to enter the email address manually

click Create Email
Click Start under Mailing List
By License Status
Choose the option you are interested in
Click Generate
You are displayed a list of all members and their email addresses
Click Send Email
You see a box listing the number of recipients
If you want to verify or make a change to the list
Click the Toggle List button to show all the receiving email addresses.
Choose your template
Enter the subject
Enter the body of the Message
You can preview the message before sending
You can also add an attachment. Note attachments must be less that 10MB
You now have the option to either send the message now or schedule it for a certain day and time.
Note when you click the send button you are taken to the Mail Dashboard. You may notice that the status on your email is Scheduled. This is by design in that there is a delay of 2 minutes before the email starts being sent.
The Mail Dashboard also has options to see the results of your email as well as deleting them. To the right of your message you will see icons.
These are :
Bar Graph - Gives you statistics about the email. Which ones were delivered and which ones have been opened.
Eye - displays a template of the email that was sent to the member
Trash Can - delete the email message
